Job Description

Prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join their Denver team. This role is essential to the success of the legal team, providing comprehensive support throughout all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale, complex litigation cases and will be instrumental in ensuring that the legal team is prepared and trial-ready.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary case manager, overseeing all stages of litigation from intake through appeal, including tracking document productions and ensuring the case file is complete and trial-ready.
  • Docket and calculate deadlines, with experience in researching and interpreting court rules across various jurisdictions.
  • Maintain well organized electronic case files and manage large scale document productions throughout the lifecycle of a matter, utilizing Relativity and other eDiscovery platforms.
  • Prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests, and other litigation documents with meticulous accuracy.
  • Assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, preparing witness materials, creating PowerPoint slides, and attending trials as necessary.
  • Finalize case briefs by performing thorough legal and factual cite checking, ensuring adherence to citation style (Bluebook), proofreading, and compiling relevant exhibits.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys to support litigation strategy in complex litigation matters, exercising strong analytical judgment and clear communication.
  • Develop and maintain case specific workflows and checklists to support efficiency, consistency, and defensibility in high volume, multi party matters.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing all phases of large-scale, complex litigation is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education, certifications, and demonstrable work experience. Additionally, a paralegal certificate is preferred.
  • Defense experience and proficiency in tracking/recording billable time is required. Must be able to meet billable requirement of 1,450 hours annually.
  • Commercial litigation, product liability, or medical malpractice experience is preferred.
  • Excellent legal technology skills, including proficiency in eDiscovery platforms (Relativity), document management systems (iManage), and legal research tools (WestLaw).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a high-volume workload to meet time-critical deadlines.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, project ownership, personal accountability, and a strong desire to work hard.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary of $90,000 - $120,000 annually commensurate with experience.
